Charlie’s Watch Repair is a hidden speakeasy-style bar with a mystical twist. For this project, we set out to design a menu that would be as intriguing and unforgettable as the bar itself. The goal was to create a standout piece that felt immersive and embodied the bar’s unique character.
Inspired by tarot, the moon, and all things magical, we designed a menu that transforms each specialty cocktail into its own tarot card, together forming a deck of “mystical cocktails.” Each deck comes nestled in a velvet bag, complete with an accompanying booklet that details the bar’s full selection of beer, liquor, and spirits. When presented to guests, servers reveal the deck with a flourish, inviting them into the experience with a sense of wonder and discovery.
The menu launch was a sold-out event, celebrated with a free tarot reading under a full moon to keep everything on theme. Guests were captivated by the unique presentation, enhancing the bar’s ambiance and leaving a lasting impression that echoed the magic of Charlie’s Watch Repair.
